Like most people, we have had numerous things that we have said that we would like to do or see. While most will probably never happen, we did decide to check one of them off the list this year, and are going to the International Balloon Festival in Albuquerque NM. A yearly event, this year is occurs October 1 through the 9th. We will fly in on the 1st and stay until the 9th.
We have reservations at the Country Inn and Suites near the airport and will be renting a car during our stay there. The hotel does provide shuttle service between the hotel and the festival which is great, but there are other things that we would like to see and do while there.
In looking through Trip Advisor, we found NM Jeep Tours that everyone raved about, so we sent off an email and reserved a full day tour with them. We also plan on touring the downtown area, seeing the zoo and botanical gardens, and maybe going on the Sandia Tram while we are there.
As we get closer to leaving, more information will be posted.
